1958 Chevy Nomad (Impala Backend)

This customer came in with a concept drawing he had located, which had a Nomad with a Impala backend transplanted into it.  Challanging as this was, we accepted the task and reworked the back tail so that the single fin Nomad design could now incorperate the Impala three light system.  This change widened the fins and required additional alterations to the tailgate to accommodate the wider fins.  We modified the tailgate so that it could open as a one piece unit opening upwards.  We also fabricated and installed a highstop light system on the roof, so that it looked factory and to meet current standards.
